Duomo di San Matteo (St Matthew’s Cathedral): Built in the 14th century, St Matthew’s Cathedral has an impressive Romanesque façade that features statues of saints and angels. Inside, visitors can find a variety of styles, including Gothic and Baroque. The cathedral also contains works by renowned local sculptors like Bernardo Castello and Andrea Carlone.

Santa Maria di Castello: This large church was built in the 11th century in the Romanesque style, with later renovations that added elements of Gothic and Renaissance architecture. Its impressive exterior is decorated with sculptures depicting the life of Christ, while inside there are numerous works of art, including an altarpiece painted by Domenico Fiasella. Not to be missed are its impressive organ (dating from 1636) and frescoes dating back to the 17th century. The views are also incredible.

Chiesa dei Gesuiti (Church of the Jesuits): This church was founded in 1568 and is notable for its Baroque architecture. Inside, visitors will find a variety of frescoes, altarpieces and sculptures, including works by local artists like Bernardo Castello and Carlo Fontana. The Church of the Jesuits also houses an impressive organ built in 1712 by Francesco Filippo Tuveri.
