Take time out to marvel at the street art that adorns many walls here and enjoy delicious Italian cuisine, especially pizza, in one of its many restaurants and cafes.

4) Lambrate – A few miles outside of the city center, Lambrate is an up and coming neighborhood known for its cool bars, trendy restaurants and bustling nightlife. This area is also filled with art galleries, independent movie theaters and plenty of green spaces to relax in.

5) Citta Studi – This student district of Milan is home to the Politecnico di Milano university but has much more going on than just lectures! Take a walk along Corso 22 Marzo or check out Piazza Leonardo da Vinci for some great shopping opportunities. The nearby Parco Ravizza is ideal for a picnic or relaxing stroll after a long day exploring the city.

6) Isola – Last but not least we have Isola – the most densely populated neighborhood in Milan, which is known for its vibrant nightlife scene and has plenty of things to do. There are plenty of hotels, bars, clubs and restaurants to enjoy here as well as some great shopping opportunities. The nearby Isola Garibaldi park is a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
